About this event

When life gets busy we can’t access our intuition. Our innate wild wisdom whispers, but we can’t hear it over the stress and distractions of modern life.

So give yourself the opportunity to step back from overwhelm, to relax and honour your own needs.

Held by the herd and nature itself, within the stunning, secluded grounds of Hale Park.

Enjoy some Mindfulness and Magic as you connect with nature and find practices that support calm, clarity and confidence in your day-to-day life.

(No horse experience required)

And leave feeling relaxed, rebalanced, and revived.

Ready to manage any challenges ahead.

    Your Event Hosts

    • Debs Atkinson

I am passionate about helping others to live from their hearts and to follow their path to happiness and love. I’m a healer, a therapist, a writer, a teacher and am mostly at the beckoned call of my naughty rescue dogs, wayward chickens and demanding ducks.

    • Debbie Reilly

I create safe, nurturing spaces in nature where women can slow down, breathe and remember who they are. Blending science and ancient, nature-based wisdom, I create gentle, grounded spaces for change. Not quick fixes – but an opportunity to reconnect with your own calm, confidence and inner wisdom.

    Nature & Equine Experiences FAQ’s

We will be relaxing within the stunning gardens and ancient woodlands of Hale Park, and enjoying a series of gentle, sensory based, and creative, mindful invitations. Each of which you can engage with in whatever way feels best for you.

Each experience includes a guided sensory awakening, reflective practices, opportunities for ‘Connected solitude’- spending time by yourself without feeling alone, and supportive sharing circles. Where you can share as much or as little as you wish, and learn from others within the group.

During the experience we will also be joining the herd of resident horses for more mindful and creative invitations. Held by the calming presence of horses

No, you just need to show up as your beautiful self, however you are feeling on the day, and you’ll be guided to do exactly what feels right for you.

I love the saying, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.” So here’s a list for all weathers. Plus you’ll get any extra details with your booking.

Please wear long trousers & socks, to reduce risks from ticks, and sturdy, waterproof footwear.

    • A warm coat, hat and gloves in cooler weather, a sunhat and sun lotion in summer
    • Extra layers &/or a blanket in a bag as the body tends to cool down as you slow down, (and you’ll not be walking to keep warm!)
    • Waterproofs if rain is forecast
    • Something to sit (or lie on if the weather allows), e.g. a sit mat, portable chair, bin liner, yoga mat or picnic blanket.
    • Water or a drink/snack if you wish
    • Any medication you require and bug spray if the bugs tend to like you!
    • Tissues (just in case you need a wild wee!)
    • Sketch book or journal if you use one.

Sessions can be postponed in case of heavy persistent rain or strong winds and weather warnings. However, experiencing nature connection in the rain can be an incredible experience in itself.

For many events at Hale Park, we also have the added bonus of use of the stunning Drawing room, at Hale Park. With a warm fire, access to the gardens, and awe inspiring views. So sessions can be adapted if required.

As a trauma and attachment informed confidence coach, with over 30 years experience of facilitating safe human-equine interactions, you will not be asked to do anything that you don’t feel comfortable with. For any mindfulness with horses experiences, you don’t even need to go in the field with the horses to receive the benefit.

For any further questions, please contact me, Debbie.

    With thanks and wild wishes.
